Biography

Elizabeth (Liz) Vaysman is a family law attorney with over a decade of experience helping clients navigate the complexities of adoption and assisted reproduction. Liz guides clients with warmth and expertise, drawing on experience working with both adoption and surrogacy agencies, as well as years in private practice supporting clients in their unique family-building journeys.

In navigating assisted reproduction, Liz advises intended parents, surrogates, donors and agencies on the legal requirements for enforceable arrangements, drafts surrogacy and donor contracts and completes legal proceedings to confirm parental rights. With experience in matrimonial law, Liz has a nuanced perspective on the impact of assisted reproduction on modern families. She counsels clients on protecting their embryos in marriage and creating a plan for ant future use of genetic material. When considering adoption, Liz counsels adoptive parents, birth parents and agencies through informed and compliant adoption legal plans, ensuring all parties proceed with clarity and understanding.
