Barbara began her practice in adoption law more than 15 years ago and has represented all members of the adoption triad in nearly every type of adoption. In 2022, she expanded her practice to include assisted reproductive technology law and now represents intended parents, gestational carriers, donors and recipients. Barbara’s work in family law began because of a personal interest.
She and her husband provided kinship care to a child from 2006 to 2007. This experience led them to become licensed foster parents from 2013 to 2017 and ultimately adopt two children from foster care.
Barbara is a passionate advocate for open adoption. She is an empathetic guide who supports her clients every step of the way through their unique journeys.
